We are living a unique moment, in which renewable energy is increasingly valued and placed at the center of business, expanding our market.

Given the importance that energy has for CBA and its operations, we have taken over the management of our energy assets, creating a specific business unit.

Energy Assets

We have 25 energy assets: 21 hydroelectric plants and 4 wind complexes, located in the southern, southeastern, central-western, and northern regions of Brazil, totaling 1.6 GW of installed production capacity. Of these, 0.6 GW are operated by CBA, 0.8 GW are consortium participations, and 0.2 GW come from wind complexes.

Note: the plant park also has 5 other hydropower plants operated by consortia, such as: Machadinho, CAN I&II, Salto Pilão, Baesa, Enercan.
